The Fun Factory Patchy Paul II, which has been coined as the “Mercedes of adult toys”, has been a part of my toy chest since I discovered it. It has a combination of some key features that make it a great choice … for one thing, it can be quite refreshing to have a dildo that doesn’t look like your typical phallus with bunny ears. It has a multitude of cheerful colours, as well as a unique design with very pleasurable ribbing along the shaft… and the worm has a smile on its face for a reason!

The Patchy Paul is a popular choice among my circle of toy friends because it is made of 100% soft silicone, and it hit the sweet spot for balance between being too firm or too flexible. It has a good range of vibration, which is controlled by a spinning dial at the end of the vibrator, and is powered by 2 AA batteries that fit inside. 

One other distinguishing feature is that it’s water resistant! Does it stand up well in the shower? It does indeed, though I probably would recommend against taking it swimming in the bathtub.

Although it’s water resistant, condensation could still penetrate through the unit… so a good piece of advice for waterproof toys is to open the dial cover to expose the inside of the component after every use. Do this and you will extend the life of the toy. If you have already read some of the articles about sex toys, you know that it is important to store your batteries outside of your toy… which brings to my only little bone of contention; If you find that battery cap is finicky to put on and take off, you are in the same boat that I was in. 

The Patchy Paul qualifies as an excellent g-spot stimulator. If you are a victim to the elusiveness of the g-spot, this is a great place to start. I have found that it is much easier to reach a g-spot climax using this worm because its head is bent just perfectly… The ridges are soft and graduate nicely. It is flexible enough to be comfortable for more intense play, yet rigid enough to do its job well. It is extremely comfortable and easy to use.

The cost of the Patchy Paul is very reasonable given the fact that it is a silicone toy that is waterproof, powerful and extremely durable: theses characteristics makes it well worth the purchase.
